Prescriptions & Refills

Clarity Wellness Clinic provides prescriptions for most primary care concerns and sends them to the pharmacy of your choice. Drug coverage follows your provincial or private plan just as it would for prescriptions written by your family doctor.

Common examples of primary care prescriptions

  • Antibiotics for bacterial infections

  • Anti-inflammatories and related medications for autoimmune or inflammatory flares

  • Antidepressants and medications for mood, sleep, or focus concerns

  • Hormone therapies when indicated, including bioidentical and compounded options

  • GLP1s for weight management & longevity when appropriate and clinically indicated

  • Other medications and customized compounded formulations based on your assessment and goals

Our role is to assess, explain your options, and help choose the safest and most effective plan for you. Medication can be part of a broader strategy that may also include lifestyle changes, targeted supplements, or procedures when helpful.

Why choose Clarity for primary care & prescription medications?

  • Patient-centred care & shared decision making

  • Faster access to medical advice & prescriptions

  • In-depth follow up and monitoring

  • Private testing through LifeLabs to track progress

  • Longer appointment times to explore a variety of treatment options & concerns in the same visit

Our Approach

  • How it works

Prescriptions may be provided during any of our consultations if indicated

New concerns usually begin with a full consultation to review history, exam findings, and labs when needed

We coordinate directly with your preferred pharmacy and can arrange follow-ups to monitor response

  • Refill visits

A 15-minute prescription refill appointment is available for existing patients who have completed an initial consultation

These short visits are for stable refills and quick check-ins, not for new diagnoses or complex changes

  • Good to know

Coverage is determined by your provincial or private plan

If you are unsure which appointment to book, start with a full consultation so we can create the right plan and keep refills simple going forward
