IRON INFUSIONS

Iron infusions deliver iron directly into the bloodstream to replenish low iron stores when oral supplementation is ineffective, poorly tolerated, or insufficient. The goal is to restore iron levels and improve symptoms associated with iron deficiency, such as fatigue, reduced exercise tolerance, and difficulty concentrating. Every iron infusion at Clarity Wellness Clinic is administered by a trained medical professional with careful monitoring throughout the treatment for safety and comfort.

What Iron Infusions May Help With

  • Fatigue and low energy

  • Brain fog and difficulty concentrating

  • Shortness of breath and reduced exercise tolerance

  • Restoring iron levels when oral supplements are ineffective or poorly tolerated

Our Approach

  • 1. Consultation

New patients begin with a focused screening visit to review their symptoms, health history, and recent bloodwork. We will discuss which type of IV iron is most suitable for you, such as Monoferric or iron sucrose, and how many infusions may be needed. A ferritin result from the past three months is required. You may bring your existing results or arrange private-pay testing through LifeLabs.

  • 2. Infusion day

Your infusion will take place in a comfortable, private setting. Please arrive well hydrated and have a meal beforehand. We’ll review the process, check your vital signs, and place your IV. You can relax throughout the infusion while being monitored closely to ensure you remain comfortable.

  • 3. Aftercare and follow up

Depending on the type of iron prescribed, you may require additional infusions spaced over several weeks. Follow-up bloodwork is typically completed 6–8 weeks after your final infusion to reassess your iron levels and response to treatment.
